What Surge answers
Three questions, answered before you trade.
Is it the real token?
Copycats share the ticker, not the address. Surge checks Robinhood's official list and reads the contract.
Verify an addressWhat is it worth?
Robinhood's own quote, adjusted for the dividends the token has already collected. That is the fair price.
See a fair priceIs the pool fair?
Every pool shown as a percentage above or below fair. Trade with a limit and a bad fill cancels itself.

How to use Surge
Type a ticker. Read one card. Trade if you like.
- 1
Search a ticker or paste an address
Surge confirms it is the official Robinhood token.
- 2
Read the card
Fair price, the cheapest buy and the best sell on-chain, each as a % from fair. Green is close, red is far.
- 3
Trade with a limit (optional)
Connect a wallet, set the most you accept to lose against fair. If the pool cannot honour it, nothing is sold.
Honest limits
What Surge does, and what it cannot do
Surge does
- · Read public data only: Robinhood's list and quotes, Chainlink feeds, Uniswap pools.
- · Show the source and age of every number. Unknown is “—”, never zero.
- · Build a trade with a protected minimum. Below it, the trade cancels itself.
- · Work without accounts, cookies, tracking or fees.
Surge cannot
- · Hold, move or freeze your money.
- · Guarantee the fair price: it is Robinhood's or Chainlink's number, checked for freshness and agreement.
- · Stop a pool moving before your fill — the trade cancels itself, but the network fee is spent.
- · See every venue yet: only hookless Uniswap v4 pools today.
Nothing here is investment advice. No audit has been performed on this code. Robinhood stock tokens are not offered to US persons — see risk & eligibility.
Questions
Straight answers
The full method is in how Surge works.
What is a Robinhood stock token?
A token on Robinhood's blockchain (Robinhood Chain) that tracks one share of a US stock or ETF, such as AAPL or SPY. It is issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, is not offered to US persons, and can be held in any normal crypto wallet. Surge is an independent checker for these tokens; it is not run or endorsed by Robinhood.
Where does the fair price come from?
From Robinhood's own public quote for the stock (the same bid and ask its app shows), adjusted for any dividends the token has already collected. When that quote is not fresh, Surge uses the Chainlink price feed for the token instead. If neither is recent, Surge says so and will not build a trade against it.
What does "1.2% below fair" mean?
That if you sold right now in that pool, you would receive 1.2% less than the fair price for your trade size. Above fair means you would pay more than the fair price to buy. Small numbers are normal; large ones mean the pool is thin or has not caught up with the stock market.
What happens when I trade with a limit?
Surge builds one transaction for the Uniswap router with a protected minimum built in: the fair price minus your limit. You confirm it in your own wallet. If the pool cannot deliver that minimum when the transaction is processed, it cancels itself and nothing is sold; you only pay the network fee.
Do I need a wallet? Does Surge take a fee?
You need nothing to look. A wallet is only needed to trade, and Surge never holds your funds, never asks for a seed phrase, and takes no fee in this version.
Why are my token balances unchanged after a dividend?
On Robinhood Chain dividends are reinvested through a per-token adjustment factor (the "multiplier"), not by adding tokens. Your balance stays the same and each token represents slightly more of the stock. Surge shows the adjustment on every card and in the portfolio view.
What is the SURGE token?
SURGE is the token meant to govern the policy Surge applies: which addresses count as official, which feeds are trusted, what the default limit is. Surge works fully without it, nothing on this site requires it, and it is not a claim on revenue or a yield instrument.
What do "reference", "list" and "band" mean in the docs?
The fair price is the reference: the line everything is measured against. The distance of a pool's price from it is the list (a ship lists when it tilts), and your limit is the band. Screens use the plain words; the technical docs and the API use these three.
